Sweet red flesh and large size of 10 to 15 pounds, though can reach 40 pounds. SOW seeds indoors about 4 weeks before your last frost date or outdoors about 1 to 2 weeks after. Plant require a lot of space to spread and can benefit from trellising. HARVEST ripe fruit when the ground spot has turned from white to yellow, the tendril nearest the fruit has dried, and you hear a “thunk” instead of a “tink” when tapped.
